Great SPRING Awakening!

I just absolutely LOVE spring!!! I love the warm weather. I love the cool breezes. I love the rebirth of new life. I love the sweet scent of spring; the stagnent musk of winter dissapates into a rejuvinating aroma that just lifts my spirits to unmeasurable heights. I love everything about spring; the buds sprouting, the birds chirping, the flowers blooming, the light raindrops trickling all around me. I even love the pollen . I love the atmosphere, I love the way it makes me feel like jumping out of my skin and singing and dancing and shouting for joy. For the first time in months I feel alive again. I am no longer hibernating, no longer as disconnected from realilty. For the first time I have enegry, I'm not as sleepy and lethargic. I have a reason to stay awake, to soak up the beauty all around me. To take a moment and reflect on the wonders of creation. I long for these moments, the newness of it all. The hope and the promises of a new day. I can't say it enough, I just love spring!!!!

I haven't been able to update recently. I have been cat sitting in Chesterbrook again since last weekend and I've been working at ABC all week. Today was the first day I actually got to enjoy the nice weather. It was a perfect day to go for a walk which is just what I did. Becca and I walked around Immaculata University. We sat on a pinic bench and prayed for Jeff as he is now in his final days. I hope that somewhere somehow he opened his heart to salvation. It breaks my heart to see him suffering.

We walked back under a canopy of trees and it felt good to be home. I really look forward the time I will get to spend surrounded by nature during the next several weeks.

Tomorrow is Friday and I took the day off!! Actually Becca, Marc, Bama, and I will all head on up to Waverly tomorrow for Cindy's wedding on Saturday. It will be a good weekend. A weekend away is just the ticket!
