Yes, this pretty much describes me to a tee lately. I spent Sunday through Tuesday having a wonderful time at the beach and come Tuesday night would you guess what happened? I forgot a bunch of stuff...including my CAMERA!! Stupid....

I want to type all about my experience at the beach, but I am too lazy and uninspired right now...so if you wanna know...ask me for all the details (juice?) not that there is really any...

The itch returns

Oh, my day has been made. Simon, from World Servants, in Kenya called me today to see how I was doing. He is in Texas for his son's wedding. To think it has been almost a year since Kenya, and somehow I must have made some sort of impact on him even amongst a group of 42 other people, that he would want to call me and see how I was doing and tell me he misses me and wants to know when I will come back to Kenya. I could have cried right then and there. I can't believe it. I forgot how much I miss it. I would go back if there was a way. I would. I asked him to keep his eyes open for an opportunity for me to maybe volunteer at an orphanage for a time.

He is an awesome dude. I miss him a lot. I miss Kenya. I miss missions. I miss it all....and I'm stuck here. Going where? Doing what? Happy just to reunite. I now feel like I need to reconnect and touch base with people from past missions trips....this put me in the mood.
